Now operating in the internal market of Apexfil´s processes towers launches its new line of products with trays and fillings (plastic or metal). Process towers are equipment used extensively in chemical process industries for separation and purification of products in destillation, absorption and extraction.

The construction is done by a cylindrical body enclosed in vertical position. Its dimensions are determined on the basis of the volumes of liquids and vapours. Trays and fillings are devices that make up the inside of the columns.

They have the function of improving the mass transfer through the passage of steam through the liquid phase, in other words, to promoting maximum contact between the liquid and gaseous phases continuously.

Manufactured according to the size and proportion of the towers, the dishes and pans may contain valves, absorption bottles or holes. Manufactured in carbon steel, stainless steel or any other metal alloy. Already the different varieties and sizes of fillings interfere directly in diameter, height, load loss and cost of column. The same happens on variety of materials and fabrication dimensions of fillings, which are made to supply the extension process conditions. It is crucial that there is an excellent distribution of liquids and gases along the spine, to ensure the best performance of beds filled, influencing directly on process efficiency. Therefore, Apexfil also offers a wide variety of liquid and gas distributors, as well as bars and support bed limiters.
